Return Period
Customers may return products within 30 days of receiving their order.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused and in its original condition
- Proof of purchase is required
Returns requested after 30 days from delivery may be refused.
EU Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection law.
MadeByBarry voluntarily extends this period to 30 days.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us within 30 days of receiving the goods by contacting us.
You may use a clear written statement indicating your decision to return the product.
Return Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless:
- The item was received damaged
- The wrong product was delivered
- The product is defective upon arrival
We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
Return shipping costs are non-refundable.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved:
- The refund will be processed within 14 days
- The refund will be issued using the original payment method
- Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless required by law
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you provide proof of return shipment.
Damaged or Defective Products
If your product arrives damaged or defective:
- Contact us within 7 days of delivery
- Provide photos of the issue
We will offer either:
- A replacement
- A repair (if applicable)
- A refund
Return shipping costs for defective items will be reimbursed.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom-made or personalized products
- Items damaged due to misuse
- Products showing clear signs of use
- Minor cosmetic layer lines are inherent to 3D printing and not considered defects
- Minor color variations may occur due to filament batches
If your products are customized (e.g., special designs, personalized braille layouts), this clause is especially important.
International Orders
For orders shipped outside the European Union:
- Import duties and taxes are non-refundable
- Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer
- Customs fees incurred during return shipment are the customer’s responsibility
If a shipment is refused by the customer and returned to us, we may deduct return shipping and customs costs from the refund.
